allrole helps you find roles that fit your background, and reads each one against your record so you can decide what is worth your time. To do that, it needs a little information from you and holds some of what it produces for you. This page explains what we store, why, and who else touches it. We have tried to write it the way we would explain it to you in person, not in legalese. If anything here is unclear, write to us and we will answer plainly.
What we store
If you only request a beta invite, we store your email address and your three answers to the signup questions: whether you know the role you want, the country you are based in, and whether you are open to remote roles. That is all. We do not log your IP address, your browser, or anything else about your visit.
If you are invited and set up a search, we also store:
- The CV you upload, kept as a file in private storage.
- The profile we build from it: your experience, seniority, and the markets you can work in, along with the calibration we use to judge fit for you.
- Your search settings: the roles you are looking for, the countries, the seniority levels, and the other filters you set.
- The matches we find for you, each with its score and the reasoning behind it, and any deeper analysis documents we generate for you.
Your account is tied to your email address. You do not create a password; you sign in through a one-time link we email you.
What we use it for
We use your information for one thing: to run your search and show you roles that fit, with an honest read on each one. Concretely:
- Your CV and profile let us judge which roles match your background.
- Your search settings decide which openings we look at.
- Your email is how we send you your sign-in link, your beta invitation, and, if you want them, alerts when a strong match appears.
- The beta signup answers help us set up your search well and decide who to invite next.
We do not sell your data. We do not use it for advertising. We do not build a profile of you for anyone other than you, and we do not use it to reach out to companies or recruiters on your behalf. Nothing about your search is public, and no recruiter can find you through allrole.
Who processes your data
allrole runs on a small set of trusted services. Each one sees only what it needs to do its job.
| Service | What it handles | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Supabase | Our database and the private storage for your CV and documents | EU-hosted |
| Anthropic | The AI that reads your CV and job descriptions to build your profile and judge fit | Sent as needed for analysis |
| Resend | Sends our emails: sign-in links, invitations, and match alerts | Receives your email address |
| Hetzner | Hosts the application | EU (Germany) |
| Cloudflare | Protects the site from attacks and routes traffic to it | Global network |
A note on the AI, because it matters most. To judge how a role fits you, allrole sends the text of your CV and the text of the job descriptions to Anthropic's models for analysis. This is how the reasoning on each match is produced. It is used to serve you and nothing else. The job data we collect from companies' hiring systems is gathered using only the company's name; none of your personal information is sent to those sources.
Cookies
allrole uses one cookie, and only after you sign in: the session cookie that keeps you logged in. There are no advertising cookies, no analytics cookies, and no third-party tracking of any kind. We do not run Google Analytics or any similar script. Browsing the site as a visitor sets no cookie at all.
Your choices and deletion
Match alerts are optional. They are on by default so you do not miss a strong match, but you can turn them off at any time. For now, email us at [email protected] and we will switch them off for you. A self-serve toggle is on the way.
You can ask us to delete your data. Write to [email protected] and we will remove your account and everything tied to it, including your CV, profile, matches, and documents. We will confirm when it is done, within 30 days and usually much sooner.
If you signed up for the beta but were not invited, we keep your email and answers until we invite you, decide not to, or you ask us to delete them. Either way, a request to [email protected] removes them.

Changes to this page
If we change how we handle your data, we will update this page and change the date at the top. During the private beta, if a change affects you directly, we will tell you.
